Revolutionary War Soldiers Buried in Northern Kentucky
I have been researching the number of Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Boone County and several other adjacent counties in Northern Kentucky. (Kenton, Campbell, Bracken, Mason) The 1840 Census lists those who were still alive at that time, but the list is far from complete. I have utilized earlier documents and the research of Anna Fitzgerald to compile a more accurate total. The Boone County DAR was also helpful, as they had a record of many Revolutionary soldiers buried, and some graves previously dedicated with DAR markers. The Boone County Library also had similar records of the grave dedications of eight -10 Patriots.
